An Acctual alternative, now that Acctual is closing
Acctual is joining Altitude. From 30 September 2026 its invoicing and bill pay move there, unpaid Acctual links stop working, and anything you had outstanding has to be reissued from somewhere. This page is about what to do in the meantime, including the parts where we are not the answer.
Do these first, whatever you switch to
- Export your invoice history out of Acctual while it is still there. Your books need it and nobody else will have it.
- Export your clients and vendors — names, addresses, tax numbers. Retyping thirty contacts is an evening.
- List what is outstanding. Every unpaid invoice has to be reissued somewhere, because its link stops working.
- Warn the clients who owe you before the link dies, not after. A dead payment link reads as a scam to the person who receives it.
None of that needs an account here. Do it today; the deadline is the deadline.
Where Perly Invoice is a straight swap

Where we are honestly not the same thing
Acctual moved money — it was a payment processor with an invoice on the front. Perly is not, and will not be. That means:
- No card payments. Your client cannot put a Visa into our page, because there is no page of ours that takes one.
- No payouts, no conversion, no cash-out to a bank. A stablecoin paid to your wallet stays a stablecoin until you do something about it elsewhere.
- No KYB, and no account for your client. The flip side of the same fact: nothing to verify, because nothing is being custodied.
- Nothing is emailed from our servers. The Send button opens a draft in your own mail client.
If what you valued about Acctual was the processing — cards, fiat payouts, a balance — then Altitude, or a processor, is the honest recommendation and we would rather say so. If what you valued was the invoice, a wallet address that works, and not paying a percentage to be paid, that is the whole of what we do.

- When exactly do Acctual links stop working?
- Acctual says it operates normally until 30 September 2026, after which invoicing and bill pay move to Altitude and unpaid Acctual links stop working. Check their own migration notice for the current wording before you rely on a date from us.
- Can I import my Acctual data into Perly?
- Not automatically — there is no importer, and we will not pretend otherwise. Contacts and open invoices are retyped, which for most people is under an hour, and the generator needs no account to start.
- Does Perly take 2.7% like Acctual did?
- No. We take nothing, on any rail, because the payment never passes through us. The only cost is your bank's or the network's.
- Can my clients still pay by card?
- Not through us. Perly prints bank details and wallet addresses; there is no card processing anywhere in the product.
- Do I have to do KYB or verify a business?
- No. Nothing here custodies money, so there is nothing to verify. You sign in with a Perly account and start.
- Should I just move to Altitude instead?
- If you need cards, fiat payouts or a held balance, probably yes. If you need an invoice that gets paid to your own account, you do not need a processor at all.
